General Aesthetic Questions
What is the difference between standard aesthetic treatments and regenerative aesthetics?
Standard aesthetics (such as dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections) focus on enhancing and refreshing your appearance. Regenerative aesthetics (such as PRP, polynucleotides, exosomes, biofiller, and PLLA) go deeper—stimulating your body’s natural processes to repair, renew, and rejuvenate for long-lasting results.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
At Body London, every journey begins with a detailed consultation. We assess your skin, lifestyle, and goals to design a bespoke treatment plan—whether that’s instant refinement with fillers or long-term rejuvenation with regenerative therapies.
Do the treatments hurt?
Most treatments involve minimal discomfort. We use numbing creams, cooling, or local anaesthetic where needed to ensure your comfort. Clients often describe the sensation as a slight scratch or pressure rather than pain.
Can I combine treatments in one session?
Yes—many treatments work beautifully together. For example, fillers and anti-wrinkle injections can restore balance instantly, while skin boosters or polynucleotides enhance skin quality for a complete transformation.
When will I see results, and how long will they last?
Some treatments, like dermal fillers or anti-wrinkle injections, show results within days. Others, such as PRP, polynucleotides, exosomes, or PLLA, build gradually over weeks as they stimulate collagen and repair. Results can last 3–24 months depending on the treatment.
Dermal Fillers & Anti-Wrinkle
Are dermal fillers only for lips?
Not at all. While lip enhancement is popular, fillers can also restore mid-face volume, sculpt the jawline, refine the nose, soften smile lines, or rejuvenate the under-eyes.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Results typically last 6–18 months depending on the area treated, product used, and your lifestyle. Regular treatments help maintain your results.
How long do anti-wrinkle injections last?
Usually 3–4 months, although individual results vary. With consistent maintenance, some clients notice longer-lasting results.
Can I have anti-wrinkle or fillers if I’ve already had other treatments?
Yes—both can be combined with regenerative therapies like PRP, skin boosters, or exosomes to optimise results and skin health.
Skin Boosters & Hydration
What are skin boosters, and how are they different from fillers?
Skin boosters (like Profhilo or Seventy Hyal) hydrate and improve skin quality rather than add volume. They act like an “internal moisturiser,” boosting collagen and elastin for smooth, glowing skin.
How soon will I see results from skin boosters?
Results appear gradually over 2–4 weeks, with full effect after the second session. Skin feels plumper, smoother, and more radiant.
Regenerative Injectables (PRP, Polynucleotides, Exosomes, Biofiller, PLLA)
How does PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) work?
PRP uses your own blood, processed to isolate plasma rich in growth factors. When reintroduced into the skin or scalp, it stimulates healing, collagen production, and hair or skin rejuvenation naturally.
What are polynucleotides, and who are they best for?
Polynucleotides repair and regenerate skin at a cellular level. They are excellent for fine lines, skin laxity, and under-eye concerns, and can also improve overall texture and elasticity.
What are exosome treatments?
Exosomes are cellular messengers that promote regeneration and repair. They enhance results in skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, and healing, and pair beautifully with PRP or microneedling.
What is biofiller, and how does it differ from dermal filler?
Biofiller is created from your own PRP, processed into a gel-like filler. It’s completely natural and regenerative, offering subtle volume restoration while also rejuvenating the skin.
What is PLLA and how many sessions will I need?
PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) is a biostimulatory injectable that stimulates collagen production rather than adding instant volume. Most clients need 2–4 sessions, spaced several weeks apart, with results lasting up to 2 years.
How long do regenerative treatments last?
PRP, polynucleotides, and exosomes typically last 6–12 months, biofiller around 12–18 months, and PLLA up to 24 months. Maintenance is recommended to prolong results.
Fat Dissolving
Are fat dissolving injections safe?
Yes—when performed by trained professionals, they safely target small stubborn fat pockets such as under the chin, stomach, and thighs. Swelling and tenderness are normal and short-lived.
How many sessions of fat dissolving will I need?
Most clients require 2–4 sessions for best results, depending on the treatment area and desired outcome.
Wellness (IV Drips & IM Vitamins)
How do IV drips and vitamin injections support aesthetics?
They nourish the body from within, boosting hydration, immunity, and energy. Healthier skin, hair, and nails are often noticeable benefits alongside improved wellbeing.
What vitamins do you offer at Body London?
We provide IM injections (B12, Vitamin D, Biotin, B Complex, Glutathione, Vitamin C, NAD+) and IV drips (including NAD+, Myers’ Cocktail, Hydration, and bespoke wellness blends).
How often should I have vitamin treatments?
This varies by individual needs. Some clients choose a monthly boost, while others opt for tailored wellness plans. Our consultation will guide your best schedule.
Safety & Aftercare
What’s the downtime after treatments?
Most treatments involve little to no downtime. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising may occur but usually resolves within a few days. Full aftercare guidance is always provided.
